I am one of eight children.  I was raised in Beaumont, Texas by a single mother. My siblings and I are extremely close, in age and relationship. I moved to Prairie View to attend college.  I meet my husband my sophomore year.  We have been married for twelve years and are raising two children, a boy and a girl. Whenever I am not at work or at school, I am enjoying my family.  I am an activity driven parent, so we always have something to do or somewhere to go.  I have worked in Alief ISD for seven years, with the last two years working as Language Arts/Social Studies Specialist. In five years I would like to be somewhere creating and implementing a curriculum that truly grow students.  My family and Christian beliefs shape me into the individual you see today.
